Estimates by country and region
These are reference estimates for ordinary clothing bought for personal use and received by EMS, not a final bill. Materials, value, freight, exchange rates, preferential eligibility and Customs assessment may change the amount. Checkout GST and taxes collected at import are separate systems.
The representative tariff example is a Japan-made, 100% polyester knitted skirt (HS610453). Preferential rates whose eligibility has not been verified are not assumed.
Checked:
Hong Kong — Ordinary clothing: estimated import duty and VAT 0%.
Ordinary clothing has no import duty or VAT. A 0% tax estimate does not make special handling or other procedures free of charge.

Taiwan — For a representative synthetic knitted skirt, combined tax is about 17.6% of CIF.

Duty is 12% of CIF (goods plus freight and insurance); 5% is then applied to the duty-inclusive amount, giving about 17.6% combined. Materials and classification can change the rate. The general low-value exemption is NT$2,000 or less in customs value; frequent imports and other exclusions may not qualify.
If assessed, pay according to the tax notice when the postal item is delivered or at the designated counter. Online payment is not universally available for postal items.
South Korea — Eligible simplified personal clothing imports: estimated 18% plus ₩4,000 EMS clearance fee.
The 18% simplified rate applies to eligible personal-use clothing purchases, including purchases of US$1,000 or less that meet postal simplified-assessment conditions. Personal-use goods of US$150 or less may qualify for exemption, subject to valuation and eligibility rules.
Taxable EMS items have a ₩4,000 clearance fee. When notified of the tax and fee, follow Korea Post instructions and pay before delivery.
Singapore — Clothing duty 0%; air-postal CIF above S$400 generally attracts 9% GST and applicable fees.
Clothing duty is 0%. Air-postal imports with CIF (goods plus freight and insurance) not exceeding S$400 generally qualify for import GST relief. The overseas-vendor low-value GST collected at checkout is a separate system with its own conditions. Above S$400, 9% GST generally applies to CIF and any other taxable amounts.
If billed, pay through the SingPost app, Pay with SAM or a post office as instructed; delivery follows payment. The applicable handling fee is estimated at S$10.90.

A synthetic knitted skirt (HS6104.53) has 18% standard duty. GST, HST and provincial tax depend on the destination; Ontario charges 13% HST on the duty-inclusive value. Separately documented international freight from Japan is excluded from customs value. CPTPP or other preferential duty applies only if eligible.
Eligible items can be paid online by card before delivery through Canada Post tracking. Otherwise pay by card at delivery, or by cash or card when collecting at a post office. The postal handling fee is CAD9.95.

VAT of CHF5 or less is not collected; an assessed value including freight of about CHF62 is a guide to the threshold.
Follow the Swiss Post notice or invoice. My consignments users can pay online by card, TWINT or other supported methods via SMS, email or the app, normally within 20 days, including after delivery. Later payment uses a posted QR-bill. Online payment discounts the basic fee by CHF1.50.

Hauttricot products use easy-care materials that are machine washable at home! Here, we introduce specific methods for care and repair.
[Care Instructions]
All of our products are made using 100% Japanese-made polyester yarn. It features a crisp texture, resistance to wrinkling, and vibrant colors.
They are machine washable at home, so there's no need to take them to the dry cleaner every time you wear them!
■ Laundry Tips ① As these are knit items, be careful to avoid snagging! It is safest to wash them in a mesh laundry bag. ② We recommend using your washing machine's "delicate" or "gentle" cycle. ③ To prevent the item from losing its shape, we recommend drying it flat.
[Repair Methods]
A common issue with knit products is "pilling," which can occur while wearing them.
Pilling refers to the phenomenon where the fibers of a garment become frayed or form small balls due to friction during wear.
Here is how you can repair these pills if they occur!
■ Repair Method ① Prepare a "knit repair needle," which can be purchased at most stores. ② Insert the needle from the back of the garment to the front at the location of the pill, then pull it through to the back side. ③ This will neatly pull the pill away from the surface.
